The coin “Denga” represents the ancient numismatic rarity found during archeological excavations on the territory of Kazakhstan. The name of the ancient coins minted in the 8th century is of Turkic origin and means "jingling", referring to the sounds made by rattling coins together.
On the obverse there is the embossed image of bronze coin "Denga". Around the image there are the inscriptions of the coin’s face value the coin’s mintage year. There are also the inscriptions “Republic Of Kazakhstan” both in Kazakh and English separated by dots.
Featured on the reverse is the embossed image of the reverse side of the ancient Denga. Around the image there are the legends “Denga” both in Kazakh and English as well as the National Bank of Kazakhstan logo. There are also the legends “Ag 925 31.1 gr” indicating the designation of metal, its fineness and the coin’s pure weight, two elements of national ornamental pattern and the legends “VIII c.” indicating the century of the ancient coin’s circulation. The lateral surface of the coin is smooth without corrugation and inscriptions.
